It’s yet another Saturday afternoon and I recently decided to put my new library card to use. Instead of buying books outright, I decided to test them first by borrowing it. I have checked out Rule #1: The Simple Strategy for Successful Investing in Only 15 Minutes a Week!

However, I don’t know how up to date the books are, i.e. of they have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)
(which I am borrowing from a friend).The books I have borrowed have been good and a major advantage of borrowing is that one can return them, as to not to take up more space.

For those of you who were around last September, I did an post about how I cleaned up my place and put my wares online in Take the Yard Sale Online. In this edition, I’m going to amend my position with a site I had found out about through a fellow Webgrrls member, Freecycle.

I decided to post my desk organizers on a Friday, since I no longer used them. Within the hour, I had a handful of people who were interested. By Saturday afternoon, my organizers went to a non-profit.

After Kitchen Sink Organizer

Ok, the organization bug has hit me hard, so hard that I’m have to have shopping trips and online transactions to the organization store approved before doing anything. Over the month of December, I decided to get started on my resolution early. To get my house in order in more ways than one. However, I had to attack the one place I dreaded more than anywhere, that being under the kitchen sink.

I hope everyone has had a good holiday. Instead a dreaming of sugarplums and candy canes, I have been dreaming of organizing my closet. In the process. I have been searching all over New York City and online. It seems that the companies I have called that no one seems to know the width of the door hooks. I’m not going to name the long list of retailers (both online and brick and mortar) that I called who did not know the width of the door hooks. However, I have only found one retailer who actually lists the door thickness, www.spacesavers.com. Even though their products don’t fit my thick door, they are efficient enough to list the door hook thickness of their over the door storage products.
