December 24th – What was the best moment that could serve as proof that everything is going to be alright? And how will you incorporate that discovery into the year ahead? (Author: Kate Inglis)

Yesterday, after over 10 years, I decided to end my landline service. It was bittersweet since I’ve considered the landline more of a security blanket. However, in order to move forward and since I am rarely home, it didn’t make any sense for me to hold on to a line where I only call a few people…locally.

Of course, hours after I did it, Skype went down. Was this a sign that I acted too soon?

Then, I counted to 10, and took a deep breath and realized that most of us are lucky than most. Some folks have no means of communication.

So we must be thankful for that.

That’s why I’m OK.
